Why is the background load indicator lit?
The icon lights up when the display has detected a rise in your baseload of more than 30W and it’s lasted more than an hour. This can happen when you leave an appliance on by mistake and you have gone out for the day or gone to bed. Once you’ve turned off the appliance the icon will disappear when the baseload returns to normal.
