Connections and buttons
The Hub has two LED buttons on the top along with a number connections and a button on the back:
(A) Link button and status LED for wireless pairing
(B) Cloud button and status LED for the cloud service connection
(C) Ethernet socket for connecting the Hub to your broadband router
(D) Power socket for mains power
(E) Hub reset button
Connecting to the network
The Hub needs to be connected to an available Ethernet socket on your broadband router.
Connect one end of the supplied Ethernet cable into your broadband router
Connect the other end into the Ethernet socket on the Hub (C), ensuring there is a positive “click”
Powering the Hub
The Hub is packaged with UK and Euro mains adapters.
Choose the appropriate adapter and attach it to the power supply as shown, including connecting the supplied USB power supply lead to the power supply
Connect the power adapter into the Hub (D)
Insert the power supply into the electricity socket
Power on the Hub
Firmware update
The Hub comes pre-installed with firmware that may automatically update once connected to the broadband router.
Once the update has completed, the status LEDs will indicate the state of the Hub (as shown in the status table).

During the Hub reset or updating the firmware, the LEDs will behave as shown in the table below.
LED Behaviour | Meaning |
Both LEDs alternate red flashing | The Hub has been reset. |
Both LEDs alternate green flashing | Hub firmware is being updated, please wait. |
Normal operation
During normal operation the LEDs will behave as shown in the tables below.
LED | LED Behaviour | Meaning |
Off | Check the power supply to the Hub. | |
Red | No device/s paired to the Hub. | |
Red (flashing) | Pairing failed, please try again. | |
Amber | Device paired, but out of range, or batteries need replacing. | |
Amber (flashing) | The Hub is in pairing mode and waiting to pair with a device. | |
Green | Normal state: The Hub is connected to a device/s. | |
Green (flashing) | The Hub successfully paired device/s. | |
Off | The Hub is unable to connect to the broadband router, check the Ethernet cable or network access. | |
Red | Connected to the broadband network, but unable to get an IP address. Please check your router. | |
Amber | The Hub is unable to communicate with the online cloud service. Check your network connection or contact your service provider. | |
Green (flashing) | The Hub is ready to connect to the app. | |
Green | Normal state: Connected to the online cloud service. |
