Cosy mode

Cosy mode is the mode to choose for when you want the heating on, and you're home nice and warm so you can relax. Examples of this would include: you're at home, on the sofa watching a film; you've been out building snowmen and now you need to warm up fast. 

The default temperature for Cosy is 22°C.  You can change this from the Cosy App:  Settings> Temperatures

To switch on Cosy from the App:

  • Schedule. Use the profiles option to create and edit automatic schedules of periods of Cosy. Make sure you apply the schedule to the day of the week you want it to apply to.
  • Ad-hoc. Use the control screen to select Cosy. You can choose to have Cosy start immediately, or in an hour or two. You can also choose how long you'd like Cosy to last.



To switch to Cosy on the Display:

Press the Cosy button on the display once to view the temperature for Cosy, then press it again to confirm Cosy mode. Cosy mode will last 1 hour when selecting it from the Cosy Display.

 

Comfy mode

Comfy mode is the mode to choose for when you want the heating on, and the temperature of your home at a comfortable level. Examples of this would include: when you're home, up and about doing things; when you want to heat your home economically.

The default temperature for Comfy is 18°C.  You can change this from the Cosy App:  Settings> Temperatures

To switch on Comfy from the App:

  • Schedule. Use the profiles option to create and edit automatic schedules of periods of Comfy. Make sure you apply the schedule to the day of the week you want it to apply to.
  • Ad-hoc. Use the control screen to select Comfy. You can choose to have Comfy start immediately, or in an hour or two. You can also choose how long you'd like Comfy to last.



To switch to Comfy on the Display:

  • Press the Comfy button on the display once to view the temperature for Comfy, then press it again to confirm Comfy mode. Comfy mode will last 1 hour when selecting it from the Cosy Display.

 

Slumber mode

Slumber mode is the mode to choose for when you want the heating on, but low. Examples of this would include: you and your family are out for the day at school or work; at night, when you're asleep.

The heating system will always revert back to Slumber when there is not an active heating mode (Comfy or Cosy) in operation. So when a scheduled period of Cosy ends, and there are no more scheduled modes, the heating will return to Slumber until the next scheduled change.

The default temperature for Slumber is 18°C.  You can change this from the Cosy App:  Settings> Temperatures

To switch on Slumber from the App:

  • Schedule. Use the profiles option to create and edit automatic schedules of periods of Slumber. Make sure you apply the schedule to the day of the week you want it to apply to.
  •  Ad-hoc. Use the control screen to select Slumber. Slumber mode will start immediately and last till the next mode change as per your schedule or till you manually select a different mode from either the app or the display.

  • Press the Slumber button on the display once to view the temperature for Slumber, then press it again to confirm Slumber mode. Slumber mode will last till the next mode change as per your schedule or till you manually select a different mode from either the app or the display.

 

Hibernate mode

Hibernate mode is the mode to choose for when you want the heating off. Examples of this would include: you're away on holiday and don't want the heating on; it's summer and you don't want the heating on.


The system will remain in Hibernate until such time as you choose a new mode. Your scheduled heating modes will be suspended so you can be sure that the heating remains off.

The default temperature for Hibernate is 6°C.

Selecting Hibernate

You can put your Cosy system into Hibernate mode from the settings screen of the Cosy App, or by pressing the Hibernate button on the display.
